Lance Newton is a writer and has done extensive work in both fiction, literary and popular, and the ways in which communities tell stories. As a travel agent and a nerdtravel expert, he frequents theme parks with either a Dolewhip or Butterbeer in hand. He is married to his best friend, Rachelle, and together they have adopted two amazing kids. When not working in his community, spending time with his family, or recording/editing the Nerdagram podcast, he can be found reading, writing, playing a boardgame, or watching one of his favorite films. All of these passions coalesce into a drive to understand and celebrate the power of story to help us better understand ourselves, others, and the unique communities in which we navigate.

Kate Mathena is a writer, romance blogger, and enneagram practitioner. She is fascinated by people, the stories they tell, and the relational ties which bind us all. Kate lives and works in east-central Indiana with her super-smart husband and their three sons (often referred to as “the wildlings”).
