We begin this post with an apology to our single, French listener who tunes in faithfully each week. Lance and I (Kate) don’t speak French. Nor do we have a grasp on French pronunciations. We did our best… and that probably wasn’t very good.

Les Mis is a musical adaptation of Victor Hugo’s classic novel. With such a rich ensemble cast, it makes for excellent character study.
In this episode, we discuss:
Fantine- whose eneagram number we couldn’t discern. Sorry Fantine.
Enjolras- Who we believe is an 8, who aptly portrays the drive and rashness of many young 8s.
Eponine- who we believe is probably an enneagram 2.
Marius- who was harder to type. Do you see him as a 6, 7, or something else?
Cosette- who Victor Hugo didn’t write with much personality
and finally…
Jean Valjean and Javert. Javert is DEFINITELY an enneagram 1, but we were less certain about Jean Valjean. We think a case can be made for him as an 8, 2, or possibly even a 6. What do you think?
